Monash Children's, next to Clayton's Monash Medical Centre, would treat children from across Melbourne's southeast, Gippsland, and the Mornington Peninsula. 
It would work with the new $1 billion, 340-bed Royal Children's Hospital in Parkville, due to open next year.
